Returned Goods/Delivery Discrepancies


Premier will make every effort to deliver all customer orders in line with our delivery policy as detailed in our terms and conditions, but accept that on occasion errors or damage can occur. In addition, all Premier customers have the opportunity to return non-required stock products as part of the same policy. In such circumstances we feel that a controlled, seamless and timely returns process is the key to resolving the issues as quickly as possible and causing minimum disruption to the customer and their associated billing procedures.

To clarify the returns process itself Premier has implemented the following policy:

No claims regarding defective goods or delivery discrepancies will be considered by Premier unless:

1.0 Premier are notified in writing via the "customer returns/discrepancy" form of any delivery discrepancies within 2 working days of receipt of product into customer’s premises.

1.1 Premier are notified in writing via the "customer returns/discrepancy" form of any return requests within seven working days of receipt of product into customer’s premises.

1.2 Orders for specials and  bespoke products, perishable goods or furniture specifically ordered on behalf of a customer cannot be cancelled or returned to Premier once the order has been placed.

1.3 All returned items must be in original, undamaged packaging and be suitable for re-sale. Additional packaging required for transit purposes will be the customer’s responsibility.

 

1.4 No return should be collected by a Premier representative without a collection note.


1.5 Goods for collection by Premier representatives must be made available within three working days of request.

1.6 Should any faulty product carry a manufacturer’s warranty the customer is asked to contact the customer service centre at Premier for guidance.

1.7 Premier reserve the right to perform quality checks on any returned products.

1.8 Premier reserve the right to administer a handling charge or reject a returns claim for any returned products that fail to comply with the declared returns policy.
